Actor Sangeeth Shoban is currently riding high on the success of his recent release, Raakaasa. Sangeeth carved a niche for himself through his impeccable comic timing and humorous antics with the films MAD and MAD Square.
Despite scoring huge hits with the MAD franchise, Sangeeth opted to work with first-time filmmaker Manasa Sharma for Raakaasa and scored a hit with it. Contiuing the tradition, he is now teaming up with yet another debut director for his next.
According to the latest reports, Sangeeth Shoban will team up with young director Pranay for his next film. Touted to be an action-comedy, the movie is expected to go on floors soon after Sangeet completes his current commitment with Kumari 21F director Palnati Surya Pratap under Dheeraj Mogilineni Productions.
Pranay had earlier worked as an assistant director in Sujeeth’s team for the Prabhas-starrer Saaho. Later, he worked as an additional screenplay writer for MAD and MAD Square. Now, he is set to make his directorial debut with this new film. An official announcement regarding this movie is expected to be made very soon after final talks.
Generally, young heroes try teaming up with well-known directors after scoring a couple of hits. But Sangeeth is doing a commendable job not only in teaming up with debut directors but also in scoring hits with them.
Let’s see if he continues his success streak with this new movie as well.
