Despite not sharing screen together, both Dhanush and Mrunal Thakur have given a lot of feed to rumours after getting spotted together for a couple of filmy events in recent times.
Their silence has further raised the eyebrows and speculation was thick and fast that they might soon get married. However, Mrunal quickly laughed off the rumours, while Dhanush did not respond at all. While murmurs continue over their relationship, another interesting scoop involving these actors started making rounds in the Tamil media circles.
As per the latest reports, Dhanush is likely to wield the megaphone for a lady oriented period drama set in the backdrop of 1960/70s with Mrunal Thakur headlining it as the lead actor. Kollywood is abuzz with this news as both these actors are currently the toast of the town because of the recent rumours.
A few months ago, there were reports that both Dhanush and Mrunal might actually together in an upcoming film. But, the news turned out to be false. Though it is not yet official that Dhanush will direct a film for Mrunal, the industry has once again started speculating about their close bonding.
Both Dhanush and Mrunal are currently busy with a handful of projects. Moreover, the rumours about their romantic link are refusing to die down. So, it would be interesting to see if they really take the risk and join hands for a professional collaboration at this juncture to keep the rumours alive further.
Mrunal already had a couple of releases this year and now gearing up for her third outing. She appeared in the Bollywood rom-com Do Deewane Seher Mein and Telugu film Dacoit. Her next release Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai will hit the screens very soon. Dhanush is currently awaiting his upcoming film Kara.
