DOP Karthik Shifted From Vayuputra to Karthi Film?

Tamil actor Karthi made his Telugu debut long back with the film Oopiri. The actor consistently shows interest in making straight Telugu movies. In the process, he also agreed to be a part of the HIT franchise.

And recently, he signed for a film directed by Kalyan Shankar. The untitled film will have another director working on the project, but in a different role.

Karthik Ghattamaneni, who debuted as a director with Surya vs Surya and later shot to fame with Mirai, is going to handle the cinematography for this movie.

Interestingly, Karthik has a different commitment to working with Sithara Entertainments for another film. But he seems to have moved his focus to this project.

Earlier, producer Naga Vamsi announced a animation film to be directed by Chandoo Mondeti, titled Vayuputra. Due to budget constraints, the film is reportedly on hold now, and during this time, Karthik, who was signed up for the same film, has been shifted to Karthi’s movie. He will be a value addition to Kalyan Shankar’s time.

Meenakshi Chaudhary plays the female lead role in the film and the regular shoot is currently underway.
