Naagin Actress Announces Separation From Her Husband

In a shocking development, a Bollywood couple is heading towards a divorce. Actress Mouni Roy has taken to Instagram to confirm her separation with husband Suraj Nambiar. Amidst the speculations, the couple chose to give a concrete confirmation, while also requesting for their privacy in times like these.

In a joint statement shared on social media, Mouni expressed disappointment over the speculations going around her personal life. Mouni said that there is unnecessary and intrusive attention on their personal lives which she is not happy about.

“We note with dismay the unnecessary and intrusive attention to our personal lives by certain quarters of the media. We would like to state that we have decided to part ways and are taking the necessary time to address matters privately and amicably, read a part of the statement.

Ever since the news came out that the couple unfollowed each other on Instagram, the speculations began to rise that they are heading towards a separation. The couple got married in January 2022 in Goa in both a traditional Malayali wedding and a Bengali ceremony.

While Mouni built her career in cinema industry, Suraj is a Bengaluru-based businessman and investment banker, was reportedly residing in Dubai before his marriage to Mouni.
