Monday Stories: Veerabhadrudu Surprises Big Time!

In this edition of Monday Stories, we look at the performance of Suriya’s Veerabhadrudu and the previous week release, Godari Gattupaina.

Godari Gattupaina posted strong numbers in Andhra region in the second week too taking the total Worldwide gross to 7.5 to 8 Crore. The Producer released the movie on his own and so, theaters got good feeding for two weeks.

The result of the film will depend on the non-theatrical rights which the producer have to close after the release. Prior to the release, the Producer claims to have invested about 10 Crore on the film but there is another version saying it may be around 8 Crore.

Suriya’s Veerabhadrudu surprised everyone last weekend in Telugu. The movie was released on 5 Crore advance by Annapurna Studios.

The unpaid dues of the Production house for previous films was considered as the Advance. The movie has collected around 11 Crore Gross in the first weekend.

It is expected that it will collect around 4 Crore Share in Nizam, 2 Crore Share in Ceeded, and 3-4 Crore in Andhra Region which means a Blockbuster result as far as the Telugu version is concerned.

The Tamil Version Karuppu is likely to cross the 200 Crore Gross Worldwide which means a blockbuster there as well.
