After Pawan, It’s Balakrishna For Young Director!

Sagar Chandra seem to have hit jackpot again. Sagar, who made his debut with Ayyare, took a lot of time to bag his second directorial Appatlo Okadundevadu with Sree Vishnu and Nara Rohit. Both the films were average at the box-office but bought critical acclaim for the director.

Sagar is currently busy with the remake of the Malayalam super hit film Ayyappanum Koshiyum. Pawan Kalyan plays the lead role in the film. The buzz is that Sagar Chandra will soon direct Balakrishna Nandamuri for a film under the 14 Reels Plus banner.

Sagar Chandra was supposed to direct Mega hero Varun Tej for the 14 Reels Plus banner. Due to some reasons, the project did not take off. Now, the producers are in talks with Balakrishna Nandamuri and Sagar Chandra is the front-runner to do the film. Ayyappanum Koshiyum remake will be wrapped up in the next six months. If everything goes well, Sagar will immediately start working on this film with Balakrishna, after AK remake.

Balakrishna is currently busy with Boyapati Srinu’s movie. The film reunites them after Simha and Legend. There are reports that Santhosh Srinivas is also in talks to do a film with Balakrishna but there is no official confirmation on the same.
