As per the latest reports in the Hollywood media, The Odyssey’s tickets are being resold for a staggering amount of around $1500 on eBay. The amount roughly translates to 1.4 lakhs in Indian rupees. This proves the crazy expectations around the film and how fans are eagerly waiting to catch the film on the big screens.
The Odyssey happens to be shot entirely on IMAX cameras, which makes it a spectacular watch on a 1.43:1 70mm IMAX screen. Thus, people are going mad to buy a ticket at a 70mm IMAX screen and are willing to pay even 1.4 lakhs for the same. Considering this massive pre-release buzz, we wonder what records the film is going to break once it hits the screens.
The Odyssey is an adaptation of Homer’s Greek epic of the same name. It is slated for a worldwide release on July 17. The film features a stellar cast, including Matt Damon, Tom Holland, Anne Hathaway, Robert Pattinson, Zendaya and Charlize Theron.
