Mega Power Star Ram Charan’s rural action-sports drama Peddi has wrapped up its extended opening weekend on a sensational note, collecting impressive numbers.
Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, the film opened to exceptional collections in the Telugu states, while its initial performance in North India was comparatively moderate. However, the good news for the team is that Peddi has been witnessing steady growth with each passing day. The film showed a strong upward trend on Sunday, indicating increasing audience interest in the region.
The film is heading towards the 300 crore gross mark worldwide after collecting around 250 crore in just four days. This is already biggest first weekend collection for Charan. The film is also enjoying an excellent run overseas. In North America, Peddi is inching closer to the coveted $3 million mark.
Ram Charan’s performance stands as the film’s biggest asset, winning unanimous appreciation from audiences across the country. His exceptional portrayal in Peddi is being hailed as the best of his career, with many moviegoers believing that the actor is destined to win several awards for his remarkable performance.
