DSP Becomes the Soul of Sing Geetham!

Devi Sri Prasad is one of the top music composers in Telugu. He has worked on big-budget flicks like Pushpa, and he also made himself available for some commercial actioners.

In between, he also scored some tasteful music for the film Sing Geetham, directed by Singeetham Srinivasa Rao. The film is currently performing well at the box office, and everyone is raving about the music composer Devi Sri Prasad.

The USP of the film is that everyone does not talk but sing. That way, DSP has to score the dialogues rhythmically. It is a tough job to execute that and yet not lose the charm of the music by maintaining a balance between the audio album and the background score.

When Singeetham was asked about the music director, he said that no one other than DSP would have done justice to the film, and that remains true.

DSP sought the opportunity to create something new and novel in the music for the film and has brilliantly executed it. Not just that, there are particular themes in the film, especially in the second half and the climax, that lift it to the next level.

The beautiful support from Nag Ashwin and the team at Vyjayanthi Movies made Singeetham’s dream possible, with music playing a vital role.

In the middle of the trend about music being loud sounding, DSP drifted away from conventional way of scoring music and filled the film with his musical soul. It is not an easy task to score an entire movie of 2 and half hour which has no dialogues but conversations as songs. DSP scripted history with his achievement.
