Which Actress Can Lead a Liquor Prohibition Backdrop?

Director Venu Udugula recently turned producer for a film titled Raju Weds Rambai. The film has become a hit, and he is now working on another production venture as well.

Interestingly, he is also working on another film as a director, which is reportedly going to be bankrolled by the Swapna Cinemas banner. The film is reportedly titled Chukkalu Themmanna Tenchuku Raana. There have been interesting speculations doing the rounds around this project.

If the buzz is believed to be true, the film is a female-centric film with actors like Sreeleela and Bhagyashri Borse under consideration. However, the team wants to get Sai Pallavi on board, considering the Virata Parvam sentiment as Venu earlier worked with Sai Pallavi.

Moreover, the film will deal with a sensitive subject of liquor prohibition that took place during NTR’s rule in the then united Andhra Pradesh.

The backdrop is very interesting and sensitive too and a popular actress with stature can do more justice as well as make audiences convince about the plot. Most interestingly, the film may not get into supporting or opposing the then initiative but the story is weaved around that incident is what we believe.

Swapna Cinemas always backed content oriented films and they seem to be doing the same with this project as well. More details are awaited.
