Vijay Deverakonda is turning his promise into reality by awarding scholarships to 180 high-achieving students in Achampeta mandal. This initiative, championed by both Vijay and Rashmika Mandanna, was designed to support and recognize outstanding academic talent in the region.
Sharing the list of students who will be getting merit scholarships on X, Vijay and Rashmika participated in this noble event to shape the lives and future of young children.
The project is deeply personal for Vijay, as it focuses on Tummanpet, his father Govardhan Rao’s hometown. Vijay expressed that returning to his roots to honor these students is an emotional milestone. The local community has gathered to celebrate the event, where Vijay and Rashmika shared their thoughts.
Speaking at the event, Vijay Deverakonda said, “We started supporting talented students by providing scholarships in my village. Slowly, I want to extend this to next mandals in the district and one day, I hope to extend this support across Telangana.”
Vijay also said that neither him nor Rashmika are rankers but anyone can achieve big if they have discipline in their life. Vijay tells the students that he wants to celebrate the young talents and also wants to be a part of their future.
Rashmika also motivated the students saying, “We win sometimes in life and sometimes, we meet with the failure but what is important is to learn from both the situations.”
It is heartwarming to see Rashmika and Vijay taking up this initiative. Awarding merit scholarships to the students is definitely rewarding them and personally encouraging them to go an extra mile in making their dreams come true.
So good to see the star couple backing young students. This is not the first time that Vijay is coming up with initiatives like this as he earlier provided support to people during the COVID crisis.
