Following the blockbuster success of Karuppu, fans are already eager to know whether a sequel is on the cards. During a recent interaction, actor-director RJ Balaji was asked the much-anticipated question: “When will Karuppu 2 happen?”
Responding with honesty and humor, RJ Balaji said that he is still trying to come out of the success and excitement surrounding Karuppu. The overwhelming response from audiences has kept him occupied, and he admitted that his mind is currently blank when it comes to planning the next chapter.
However, he assured fans that he would definitely collaborate with Suriya again in the future. RJ Balaji revealed that discussions about Karuppu 2 are not happening immediately, but he may start thinking seriously about the sequel after a few months.
His statement has nevertheless sparked excitement among fans who are eager to see the successful combination return to the big screen.
The conversation also took a fun turn when RJ Balaji was asked about the possibility of an “RJB Universe.” Laughing at the idea, he jokingly responded, “RJB Universe ah? Okay, let me think of that universe.”
While there is no official confirmation regarding either Karuppu 2 or an interconnected cinematic universe, RJ Balaji’s remarks have certainly fueled speculation. For now, fans will have to wait patiently for updates on what he plans next.
