Sahu To Bankroll Sangeeth’s Action Comedy

Sangeeth Shoban emerged as a bankable actor in Telugu in a few years. The success of the Mad franchise, followed by his most recent work, Raakasa, put the actor in the spotlight.

Taking advantage of the success, Sangeeth is trying to build his career by collaborating with young talents like him. He will next be seen in an upcoming film, directed by debutant Pranay Rao who assisted Sujeeth in crafting Prabhas’ Saaho.

As we already revealed the news of this project, we now have an interesting update. Shine Screen banner, headed by Sahu Garapati, will pool the resources for the film.

After mounting back-to-back blockbusters, the production house is on a roll. Post the success of Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu, the producers greenlit another film with Anil Ravipudi, starring Venkatesh and Kalyan Ram. On the other hand, they are also focusing on doing films with young talents.

Billed to be an action comedy, the role that Sangeeth chose to play in the film is something new for him and has great confidence in its success. Although this is Pranay’s first film as a director, he earlier tasted success with MAD as a writer. The long pending debut of the young director is happening in a prestigious banner and the film unit is currently busy with the prep.

Most likely, the official announcement and the film’s launch is expected to take place next month. A talented cast and crew is likely to be a part of the film.
