Narappa Teaser: Venkatesh As Angry Man

Venkatesh has undergone total transformation for the character Narappa. He turned an Angry Man in the action drama. The teaser gives us glimpse of Narappa’s character and look. His avatar scores points. He is seen holding sickle in his hand. Venky’s fierce and rustic look is clear winner.

Set against the backdrop of the Rayalaseema region, the film is about a man living with his wife and children in a remote place with a small land, growing crops. When a greedy, rich landlord in the nearby town wants to take their land, he is unsure of the best course to take.

The film touches the sensitive point of casteism and the conflict between “underprivileged caste” and “upper caste”. Narappa is touted to be the remake of Asuran. The original film directed by Vetrimaaran and acted by Dhanush has set a benchmark.

The Telugu remake is being directed by Srikanth Addala who is known for making family entertainers. The glimpse on the whole is on the dot and hits the bull’s eye.
