Raja The Raja Trailer: Timeless Love Saga

The upcoming romantic entertainer Raja The Raja has received a major boost ahead of its release, with Mythri Movie Distributors coming forward to presenting the film in theatres. Backed by K Niharika Dasari under Vrindavan Creations and directed by Annil Boyiidapu, the film features Ruthvik and Vishakha Dhiman as the lead pair. Meanwhile, the makers dropped the film’s theatrical trailer.

The trailer transports viewers to a royal kingdom where Saikumar portrays Raja Virata Varma Devaraya, a ruler devoted to tradition and honor. Amidst this backdrop blossoms a love story that meets a tragic end after the protagonist is accused of bringing misfortune upon the kingdom and is sentenced to death. Time then shifts to the present, where the lovers return in new identities.

Director Annil Boyiidapu wins brownie points for showing love stories in two different eras in captivating manner. Ravikiran Boyidapu’s cinematography beautifully differentiates the royal and modern worlds, while Mark K Robin’s background score adds emotional intensity. The production standards are top class.

For a debutant, Ruthvik delivers a surprisingly assured performance, seamlessly balancing two vastly different roles. He brings intensity to the historical portions and effortless charm to the contemporary episodes. Vishakha Dhiman impresses with her elegant screen presence and shares delightful chemistry with the hero. Saikumar’s regal portrayal lends gravitas to the narrative, while Dr. Naresh Vijaya Krishna makes his presence felt as hero’s father.

The trailer certainly succeeds in building excitement for Raja The Raja, slated for release on the 17th of this month.
