It has become a common trend for some actresses to build their careers in Tollywood, and then move to Bollywood, only to later criticize the very industry that gave them their first major break.
This aspect has often disappointed Telugu audiences, who have supported these stars from the beginning of their journeys. But Rakul Preet Singh has now won praise for her recent comments about Tollywood.
In a recent interview, Rakul said that her professional conditioning happened in the Telugu industry, which is more united and supportive than Bollywood.
She also added, “Filmmakers in Tollywood openly support one another’s films, trailers, and promotional events. They celebrate each other’s successes without hesitation despite competition”.
Rakul also revealed that this aspect is missing in Bollywood, as insecurity often prevents artists from supporting one another. She openly stated that negative PR has become more common in Mumbai, and if that is taken away, Bollywood will be back on track.
Rakul ended the conversation by saying that if Bollywood were united as one, it would become an even stronger industry. Her remarks have struck a chord with many Telugu film lovers, who are sharing the clip on social media.
