The makers of Awarapan 2 have given fans a major surprise. Popular singer Arijit Singh has come out of retirement to lend his voice to the film’s much-awaited track, Yeh Awarapan, which is set to be released tomorrow.
The announcement has created huge excitement for Arijit’s fans and lovers of the cult franchise. Awarapan remains one of Emraan Hashmi’s most loved films, and the sequel has already generated strong buzz.
The addition of Arijit Singh has taken the anticipation to a whole new level. Going back in time, Arijit Singh had announced retirement from playback singing to make his debut film as a director.
Now that he has crooned for the sequel, fans are already calling the track a sure-shot hit even before its release. Many believe that Arijit’s emotional voice combined with Amaal Malik’s music will create wonders.
Also starring Disha Patani in a key role, Awarapan 2 is one of the most talked-about Bollywood projects in recent times. One needs to see if Arijit has made exceptions for only this film or he continues to sing for other projects as well.
