One of the main stories in connection with Indian Cricket has been developed in the form of the alleged retirement of star cricketer, Rohit Sharma. This narrative reached the climax point when there were extensive speculations that Rohit could be retiring after the third ODI against England.
There were even reports that the team management has communicated to Rohit that he is not a part of the World Cup squad plans.
However, Rohit gave a resigning reply to all this narrative with his performance with the bat yesterday as he called sensational 138 runs. Shortly after he interacted with the media and commented on the rumours about his retirement.
The star cricketer stated that there have been rumours and speculations about his career since the early stages and added that he is not bothered about the same. He gave the implication that he’s not concerned about the noise surrounding the retirement as he says there no fun without all the drama.
It appears that Rohit is not bothered about this narrative that is being built against him, and he simply wants to deliver with the bat which he is able to do on occasion in the recent past.
