The Agadha team has begun its publicity jathara with a temple visit to the Balkampet Yellamma Pochamma Temple in Hyderabad. The team offered bonalu in a traditional manner, seeking blessings ahead of the film’s release.
Kamakshi Bhaskarla attended the occasion in a special traditional look and performed the rituals with devotion. Filmmaker M.S. Raju, producer Kasi Vishalakshi Balusu, presenter Ajay KR, hero Sravan Reddy, and executive producer NVN Subbaraju also took part in the event.
Producer Kasi Vishalakshi said the film has already created a strong impression with its posters and teaser, and described it as a fresh approach to the divine mystic thriller genre. Director M.S. Raju said the story is partly inspired by the goddess and that starting promotions with her blessings made the moment memorable.
He added that Agadha is being mounted on a grand scale and that the trailer will be released soon. The film stars Kamakshi Bhaskarla, Sravan Reddy, Ulka Gupta, Jovika Vijay Kumar, and Sijju. It is written and directed by M.S. Raju, presented by Ajay KR, and produced by Kasi Vishalakshi Balusu under Sri Adi Varaha Productions. The film is scheduled for a worldwide release on August 14, 2026.
