Tamil Nadu politics witnessed the remarkable story of Thalapathy Vijay recently who became the chief minister of the state in his very first attempt. This appears to have inspired many other people to take this path, and another reputed actor, Dhanush could be the new addition sent to the list.

Dhanush held a massive public event in Tamil Nadu yesterday, where he distributed financial grants to children. This event had a strong political and social outreach vibe as Dhanush also touched on a few political matters.

Dhanush spoke about the need for the people of Tamil Nadu to stay united and show their power to the everyone. He repeatedly spoke about aligning with the centre for better development of Tamil Nadu and sanction of financial allocations.
