Varun Tej’s KOKA Trailer: Korean Deyyam

Mega Prince Varun Tej is awaiting the release of Korean Kanakaraju. Directed by Merlapaka Gandhi, the movie is slated for release on the 7th of this month, and the team opted for an aggressive promotional campaign. Today, Varun Tej’s cousin Mega Power Star Ram Charan unleashed the film’s trailer.

The trailer perfectly establishes the film’s quirky premise. A carefree youngster from Penukonda, who falls in love with a girl working at the KIA manufacturing plant, is possessed by the spirit of a notorious Korean gangster. His transformation into a feared Korean crime lord forms the backbone of the film’s central conflict.

Varun Tej dominates every frame with a performance that demands two contrasting personalities. He convincingly portrays both the lovable Rayalaseema youngster and the ruthless Korean don possessing him. His body language shifts dramatically between the two versions, making the transformation believable. Satya generates consistent laughs, while Ritika Naik looks graceful.

Instead of relying solely on horror, the trailer cleverly mixes multiple genres. Merlapaka Gandhi fills it with supernatural suspense, laugh-out-loud comedy, and stylish action, making the narrative feel unpredictable. Among the standout moments is an RRR style fire-and-water action episode that raises curiosity.

The technical team deserves equal appreciation. Cinematographer Manojh Reddy Katasani’s camera work is commendable. S Thaman injects life to the narrative with a powerful background score. The production values reflect the grand vision of UV Creations and First Frame Entertainment.

The trailer certainly has blockbuster potential written all over it.
