Spiderman is one of the most popular superhero franchises in the world, and this is reflecting in the insane numbers that is being posted by the latest outing from the franchise.

Spiderman Brand New Day has reportedly opened with a sensational $920 million at the global box office in the first weekend, which is a sensationally good number. The film was able to add a super impressive ₹300 crore at the domestic Indian box office, which is another mighty impressive achievement.

While most films have been struggling to touch the $1 billion mark at the global box office by the compilation of the full run, this Spiderman film has collected nearly $1 billion from the opening weekend itself.

It was always expected that the film would open on a pretty good note at the global box office, but the fact that it was able to collect more than $900 million in the opening weekend itself is beyond expectation.

Marvel and Sony have strike absolute gold with this new film from the Spiderman franchise, and it is clear that the audience are looking to encourage superhero films with a strong enough cinematic appeal.

This is the second biggest opening for any film in the world till now, and it is just behind Avengers End Game, which released in 2019 and was able to collect $1.2 billion in the first weekend.
