KOKA Brings Out Varun Tej’s Best Comic Avatar Yet

Mega Prince Varun Tej has largely been associated with action-packed entertainers and intense roles throughout his career. While he has showcased his comic timing on a few occasions, his upcoming horror comedy Korean Kanakaraju is said to unveil his funniest avatar yet. Industry buzz suggests that his impeccable timing in the film’s hilarious situations will be one of its biggest highlights.

Korean Kanakaraju is also among the most demanding films in Varun Tej’s career, as he essays a character with two completely contrasting shades. For the first time, he speaks in a full-fledged Rayalaseema dialect, and the narrative takes an entertaining twist when a Korean spirit possesses him, leading him to speak Korean as well.

Going by the trailer, Varun Tej appears to have delivered one of his most entertaining performances. He looks effortlessly charming and energetic in the Penukonda episodes, while his transformation into a fierce Korean mafia don is equally convincing. Director Merlapaka Gandhi deserves credit for presenting the actor in a refreshing new light and extracting a performance unlike anything audiences have seen from him before.
