Tollywood is slowly witnessing the release of new films at the box office. We have a string of releases lined up for tomorrow, and surprisingly, all the movies are carrying a decent buzz in the film circles. From Korean Kanakaraju to dubbing films like DC and GD Naidu, the film that gets great talk will have the scope to score well.
Varun Tej is betting high on Korean Kanakaraju, which is releasing tomorrow. The team is promoting the film well and has also generated a decent buzz with the openings. Interestingly, the film will have premieres tonight, and the advance sales give a positive indication on the film’s result.
KJQ is another straight film, lined up for a release tomorrow. The film is mainly targeted at youth, and the promotions are decent. Sandeep Reddy’s presence in the promotions brought a spotlight to the film. The film features Sashi Odela, Deekshith Shetty and Yukti. The film’s director passed away during the filmmaking process, and that factor might get some attention to the film.
We then have Lokesh Kanagaraj’s debut as an actor. Titled DC, the film’s advance sales look good in the Telugu states. The buzz is good, and the Anirudh factor might also pull crowds to theatres, based on the word of mouth. On the other hand, we also have another dubbing film, GD Naidu, starring Madhavan. Although it is a biopic, the promotions are not being done in a great manner.
At the moment, the only film that survived from recent releases is Spiderman. The film could throw a competition to new releases over the weekend but it is safe to assume that there is scope for new releases as well.
