The 30-year-old Malayalam actor Basil George, died in a tragic road accident yesterday at Ernakulum district. Basil George made his debut as a lead actor into Malayalam movies with 2019’s Poovalliyum Kunjadum.
The car accident had killed three people and one among tehm was the actor. It is reported that five others were also severely injured as the car crashed into a nearby residential building where migrant workers live.
The car which Basil George was there had five people, traveling to Muvattupuzha from Kolenchery and since the driver lost control he went on to hit the electric post, leading to crash into a shop and a building further.
The police confirmed that the injured are ccurrently under treatment in Medical College Hospital in Kolenchery and Nidhin and Ashwin Joy, who were traveling with the actor, died even before they could be admitted to the hospital.
