Yash’s Toxic has set the advance-booking charts on fire, with ticket sales seeing an extraordinary surge across all territories. The latest figures indicate that Toxic is inching closer to the 3 million-ticket mark across BookMyShow and District combined, with one lakh+ tickets sold in just one hour. With bookings continuing to accelerate at a rapid pace, the film is showing all the signs of a massive opening-day storm.
The Telugu market has provided another major boost to the film’s prospects, with 15 Cr gross through pre sales here. Advance sales have been exceptionally strong across all other parts, with the advance sales crossing 70 Cr milestone. The response across regions underlines the enormous anticipation surrounding Yash’s return to the big screen after the blockbuster KGF franchise.
Directed by Geetu Mohandas, Toxic has generated considerable curiosity with its distinctive world, ambitious scale and intriguing promotional material. With several hours still remaining for the first show and ticket sales continuing to climb, Toxic is now heading towards a humongous opening day.
The makers released a statement requesting movie buffs not to record any sequences inside theatres or share them on social media. They have also requested audiences to refrain from revealing spoilers or key plot details, so that the cinematic experience remains intact for everyone.
