Charming Star Sharwa appears to have gone the extra mile for Bhogi, the much-awaited pan-India period action drama directed by Sampath Nandi. The film recently completed its massive climax schedule. The production works indeed almost completed, but there’s some delay in the post-production.
The Raksha Bandhan poster offers a softer peek into this world. Sharwa is seen with his sisters in a traditional village environment, surrounded by palm fruits. The mud dwelling, and trees in the background create a village atmosphere.
The actor plays Ganga, a commanding character for which he underwent a notable physical and visual transformation. Produced by KK Radhamohan under Sri Sathya Sai Arts, the story unfolds in the early 1960s and demands the recreation of a specific era, with several sequences requiring considerable CG work. This has naturally increased the production and post-production workload.
The makers will announce the film’s release date, based on the progress of the remaining works.
