Atlee To Follow Mersal Formula For Allu Arjun’s Raaka?

Ever since Raaka was announced, the film has become one of the most talked-about projects in Indian cinema. Directed by Atlee and starring Allu Arjun, the big-budget fantasy action drama is already carrying massive expectations. 

Reports now suggest that Atlee may be using a formula similar to his blockbuster Mersal featuring Vijay. According to the buzz, Raaka could feature a father and two sons, with Allu Arjun reportedly playing all three roles.

If the reports turn out to be true, this will be the first time in Allu Arjun’s career that he takes on a triple role. The actor is known for experimenting with different looks and mannerisms, but playing three generations of characters would be a completely new challenge. 

However, fans should not expect Raaka to be a simple repeat of Mersal. While the setup may sound familiar, the world of Raaka is said to be entirely different. The film is set across two timelines and blends fantasy and contemporary elements on a grand scale.

With Atlee aiming for a larger-than-life cinematic experience and Allu Arjun stepping into unexplored territory, Raaka could offer audiences something never before seen in Indian cinema.
