Director Aditya Hasan rose to fame with the web series 90s, and he is testing his luck as a director with his new film, Epic. The film hits screens tomorrow and premieres tonight. Aditya has already clarified that the film blends experiences he faced in his own life with those of others. In a recent interview, Aditya revealed how difficult it is to write a full film, where comedians usually fail.

During the conversation with Gulte Pro, the discussion turned to Samay Raina. Samay’s comedy and jokes are a hit with Gen Z, but Aditya said Samay may not write a full film, and it would be very difficult.

Aditya explains that we see a film or its trailer in a flow, and sometimes we may not be moved by the jokes in the teaser or trailer. He explains that the jokes will impress only when we know the context in a full film.

Additionally, Aditya also says that Samay can’t write a full film with his jokes, as it would need a lot more elements in it. He is very clear that the film will not work. Today, Samay is one of the top comedians in the entertainment space, getting a lot of love from new-age audiences, but entertaining a full auditorium for a 3-hour film is harder than entertaining them with a 3-hour comedy show.

Coming back to Epic, Naga Vamsi produced the film. Anand Deverakonda and Vaishnavi Chaitanya played the lead roles in it.
