Irumudi Success Credit Goes To Shiva Nirvana: Ravi Teja

Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja’s sensational blockbuster Irumudi is still going strong and the movie already broke many box office records. The team celebrated another success event. Along with the team, the generational blockbuster event was also graced by Anil Ravipudi, Gopichand Malineni, Buchi Babu Sana, Sahu Garapati, and others.

Anil Ravipudi offered one of the most striking descriptions of the film’s impact, saying that Irumudi had broken the usual beliefs surrounding release seasons. “If a movie comes during a festival season, people say movies only work during specific seasons. But a movie like Irumudi arrived, breaking all the sentiments of the Telugu film industry where different seasons combined to bring a festive victory to just one film.”

For Anil, the first person who deserved credit was Shiva Nirvana. Having followed the director’s career closely, he said he understood the uncertainty and pressure that filmmakers face between successes and failures. “Life for all directors is sensitive; we are constantly tossed between success and failure. I know the efforts Shiva put into this film. He will cherish this movie for a lifetime.”

His association with Ravi Teja received special mention as well. “Ravi Teja is the kind of hero who gives you the freedom to call him even at 12 or 1 AM with complete ease and independence. Anytime, whether it’s a good matter, a joke, a meme, or gossip- he gives you that friendly space.”

Director Shiva Nirvana used the occasion to speak about consistency, honesty and the importance of staying true to one’s creative instincts. He revealed that while working with Ravi Teja, he thought of filmmakers Gopichand Malineni, Bobby and Anil Ravipudi, who had previously delivered films that pleased audiences with different storytelling styles.

For Shiva, the massive response to Irumudi also answered the doubts that naturally arise after a major success. “The first two days after the release, there was fear. I believed in the story and made it, and if this works out properly, my writing will change next time and I can make even better movies. By the second day, I realized I was safe and that I was going to make more good movies. The reactions from the fourth and fifth days onwards made me realize something even more meaningful- I truly believe the industry loves me.”

Ravi Teja described the film as a source of immense personal satisfaction and respect. “While there are average movies, hits, flops, and blockbusters, this film has brought me immense respect, which makes me very happy. For the blockbuster success of this generation and for bringing me so much name, respect, and appreciation, the entire credit goes to Shiva Nirvana.”

His final words summed up his admiration for the director and the film: “Irumudi is Shiva Nirvana, and Shiva Nirvana is Irumudi.”
