Mythri Brings Another Premium Single Screen To Hyderabad

Single screens have been facing a tough phase for years with audiences increasingly shifting towards multiplexes and OTT.

But the recent box-office trend in Telugu cinema is changing that perception. When a film creates enough excitement and the theatre offers a good experience, audiences are still ready to fill the seats.

Mythri Movie Makers seems to have understood this shift well. After turning Vimal Theatre in Balanagar into a premium destination, the production house is now giving Hyderabad another upgraded single screen.

Mythri has taken over Ganga Theatre in Dilsukhnagar and has given it a complete makeover. The new screen comes with modern projection and sound technology, along with a large auditorium and redesigned interiors. A 66×29-foot screen, 4K Christie projection and 64-channel Dolby Atmos sound system are among the major highlights.

The revamped Ganga Theatre will officially open this Friday. The initial screenings will serve as a soft launch before the theatre gets ready for a major release next week.

Nani’s The Paradise is expected to be the first big attraction at the new Mythri Ganga. With the film carrying strong buzz, the theatre could get a proper test right from its first major release.

Mythri is also planning to renovate the neighbouring Shiva Theatre. If that makeover matches the standards set by Ganga and Vimal, Dilsukhnagar could soon become another strong destination for premium single-screen moviegoers.
