At the peak of her career, while juggling multiple projects across different languages, Rashmika Mandanna chose to do a female-centric film like Mysaa. The teaser, which is out now, offers a glimpse into why she took up this challenging role, despite having to perform never-seen-before stunts for the movie.
Rashmika plays a Gond tribal woman named Mysaa. Faced with challenges and societal barriers, she refuses to surrender and instead chooses to confront everything standing in her way. Once she declares war, there is no turning back.
Rashmika looks completely committed to the physical demands of the role. Her transformation is particularly evident in the action portions, where she is seen riding a bike with fierce intent and taking part in challenging underwater sequences. Her portrayal carries a rawness that gives Mysaa an imposing screen presence. The character’s ferocity and determination become central to the teaser’s impact.
The technical departments make a strong impression as well. Shreyaas P Krishna captures Rawindra Pulle’s world with striking visuals, while Jakes Bejoy’s intense background score reinforces the dark and emotionally charged atmosphere. The production values of Unformula Films are top-class.
Mysaa will grace cinemas on November 27th, with its teaser promising a larger-than-life action spectacle and setting strong expectations for the film’s grand theatrical arrival.
