CM Revanth Reddy Responds to Nani’s Request

Telangana CM Revanth Reddy has responded to actor Nani’s request seeking permission to watch the premiere of his upcoming film The Paradise with fans at a theatre in Hyderabad’s RTC X Roads. Nani had publicly appealed to CM Revanth Reddy, Cinematography Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy and the Telangana government to allow him to attend the September 23 premiere along with movie lovers at RTC X Roads.

Responding to Nani’s request, Revanth Reddy appreciated the actor for respecting safety guidelines and showing commitment to the film directed by young Telangana filmmaker Srikanth Odela.

CM Revanth Reddy said crowd management and public safety would be given priority during the event. He asked Nani and his team to submit an official application to the designated local police station. The concerned police team will examine the application and take a decision accordingly, Revanth Reddy said.

Taking to X, Revanth replied to Nani and wrote, “We appreciate your respect for safety guidelines, @NameisNani, and your commitment for the film directed by our talented young Telangana director, @odela_srikanth. To ensure seamless crowd management and public safety, please submit an official application to the designated local police station. The concerned team will review the application and take a decision accordingly. @TelanganaDGP”

Nani had earlier said that watching a film with audiences is an important part of the cinema experience. He expressed his wish to watch The Paradise premiere at RTC X Roads, a location with a special place in Hyderabad’s cinema culture. Nani also assured the government that he and his team would follow all necessary safety protocols and guidelines.

Nani’s request comes after the stampede incident at Sandhya Theatre during the premiere of Pushpa 2, which raised concerns over crowd management and public safety at major film events.

With the Chief Minister Revanth Reddy now directing the team to follow the official application process, the final decision on Nani’s theatre visit will rest with the concerned police authorities. But overall, it looks like a positive response from CM and authorities and most likely, Nani will be granted permission to watch The Paradise premiere at RTC X Roads.
