Chiru’s Big Push For CM Vijay’s Son’s Debut

The biggest surprise in Telugu film circles today was spotting Megastar Chiranjeevi at Sigma’s pre-release event. Starring Sundeep Kishan in the lead role, Sigma marks Jason Sanjay’s debut. The film is gearing up for a grand release on October 2nd, 2026. Surprisingly, Chiranjeevi’s presence has drawn attention to the film. Both Sundeep’s factor and Vijay’s factor will work in the film’s favor.

Vijay’s son Jason Sanjay is expected to make his debut as an actor, but surprisingly, he took the direction route. Not just that, he managed to get Lyca Productions on board for the film. With a solid budget, the young director, who is just 24 years old, delivered a strong output, as evident in the trailer. Now that Nani’s The Paradise didn’t work at the box office, everyone is looking for the next hit, and Sigma is already attracting attention.

Megastar Chiranjeevi, in his speech, revealed that he acted under the direction of Sanjay’s grandfather, who got the story from his grandmother. He also recalled clapping for one of Vijay’s early films.

At the event, he was amused by how the film caters to Gen Z audiences while also appealing to all sections of the audience. On that note, Chiru wished the team well, praising Sundeep’s growth and saying the young hero reminds him of his early days.

As for the movie, the concept isn’t entirely for the Telugu audience; the treatment looks a bit unique. If Vijay’s fans also support the film, and if word of mouth spreads positively, the film will become a blockbuster.
