Allu Sirish Complains About Loud Temple Music, Internet Divided

Actor Allu Sirish’s social media post complaining about loud music from a temple next to his apartment in Hyderabad’s Shaikpet has sparked mixed reactions online. While some netizens supported his concerns over noise pollution, others questioned why he had not raised similar complaints about noise from other religious places.

In his post on X, Allu Sirish tagged the Hyderabad City Police and said that loud music from the Hanuman temple at Vinobha Nagar was disturbing residents of Aparna One in Shaikpet.

According to the actor, the temple had been playing loud music until 2 or 3 am for several days, allegedly exceeding the permitted noise levels. Sirish said he had earlier approached the Film Nagar Police Station over the issue. However, Sirish said he was reportedly asked to bear with the disturbance until September 25, as Ganesh immersion celebrations were underway.

Allu Sirish pointed out that even after the Ganesh’s festival is over, apparently the loud music continued. Sirish also said that elderly residents, children and working professionals in his residential community were facing inconvenience. Despite several complaints in the past, no action had been taken, Sirish claimed. Allu Sirish through his X post requested the Hyderabad City Police to look into the matter and resolve the issue.

Meanwhile, Sirish’s complaint soon became a topic of discussion on social media, with netizens expressing different opinions. Several users supported the actor, saying that noise pollution should be addressed regardless of whether it comes from religious celebrations, public events or other activities. Some residents also shared their experiences of loud music disturbing their sleep late at night.

However, another section of social media users questioned Sirish’s complaint. They asked why he had raised concerns about loud music from a Hindu temple but had not publicly complained about similar disturbances from places of worship belonging to other religions.

Following Sirish’s public appeal, the matter was brought to the attention of the police. Reports indicate that local police have begun gathering information about the complaint and taking steps to address the issue.
