Vijay Deverakonda’s survival in the film industry comes with a big struggle. The actor didn’t achieve success overnight; it took more than a decade of hard work. But he is the most trolled person on social media lately. Especially with the release of his upcoming film Ranabaali, there is a lot of hate directed at him on social media. The film is also set to clash with Rajinikanth’s Jailer 2, and the criticism is getting more severe with each passing day.
In view of the same, Vijay said, “All of a sudden, there are a lot of reels popping up on our feeds, straightaway basing our movie and asking people to watch Jailer 2. But these are not opinions. Usually, anyone who shares opinions will be different from one another. What’s currently happening is different, as someone is selectively targeting by pumping this content to the front.”

That said, Vijay also shared his views on tasting success and achieving stardom at a young age. Vijay reacted to the hatred he faced, especially on social media. Assessing the same, Vijay said, “If someone thinks that my hard work and passion are a big waste, why should I stop from growing? If he mistakes my honesty for arrogance, why should I start faking? If someone mistakes my self-confidence for attitude, why should I step back? If he can not digest my journey, why should I stop my journey?” said Vijay Deverakonda.
Vijay added, “It is not me who should change, but it is them,” said the actor, adding, “They should also do great in life for themselves. I always embrace success stories and enjoy them. If one person becomes successful, everything around them changes.”
Mythri Movie Makers are producing Ranabaali with Vijay Deverakonda, and they have collaborated with him in the past as well. Producer Ravi Shankar also reflected on his journey with Vijay, saying, “Vijay is a very good actor, and I do not know why people target him unnecessarily. I too came across hate posts on Ranabaali and wonder why people do this, especially when the trailer did not come out yet. Vijay is a no nonsesne person and we wish him the best.”
On that note, Ravi also assured the fans that Ranabaali is going to become a big blockbuster. Directed by Rahul Sankrityan, the film is hitting the screens on October 16th, with Rashmika Mandanna playing the leading lady.
