What happens when a man who cannot speak falls deeply in love, yet struggles to communicate the feelings he has carried for years? Itlu Arjuna explores this unusual emotional premise. Aniesh steps into the lead role as Arjun, with Anaswara Rajan portraying the female lead.
Meanwhile, the distinctive concept has attracted the attention of King Nagarjuna, who watched the film and appreciated its fresh idea and storytelling. He has announced to serve as the presenter for the movie. His encouragement has emerged as a welcome boost for the film’s team.
Having previously supported emerging talent through Uyyala Jampala, Nagarjuna believes Itlu Arjuna has the potential to make a similar impact with its strong content and fresh talent. “Uyyala Jampala succeeded because of its content. Similarly, Itlu Arjuna is a good film with strong content,” Nagarjuna said, expressing optimism about the upcoming romantic entertainer.
He recalled that Aniesh, director Mahesh Uppala and producer Venky initially approached him to release the film’s glimpse with his voiceover. Curious about the decision to make a newcomer play a mute character, Nagarjuna listened to the story before watching the completed film. His initial concerns soon gave way to admiration.
“I wondered why Aniesh was taking such a big risk with his first film. But after watching it, I told him, ‘This is fantastic.’ His performance was incredibly convincing, and the chemistry between Aniesh and Anaswara had everything a love story needs,” he said.
Nagarjuna also appreciated Mahesh’s dedication, Thaman’s songs and Raja’s cinematography. Praising Raja’s work, he revealed that the cinematographer was immediately selected for King, Nagarjuna’s 100th film. The team initially considered October 2 for the release before moving the date to October 9 and subsequently October 30.
Producer Venky Kudumula, who launched What Next Entertainments, is particularly delighted by Nagarjuna’s appreciation of the project. The filmmaker, who steps into production with Itlu Arjuna, is backing Mahesh Uppala, who makes his directorial debut with the film.
Hero Aniesh thanked Nagarjuna for lending his support to the movie as a presenter, and stated that Itlu Arjuna will be throughly entertaining.
The film is scheduled for its release on October 30.
