Anirudh Exits SRK’s King For South Commitments?

In a surprising development, music composer Anirudh Ravichander has reportedly exited Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming film King due to his packed schedule. However, he ensured that he composed the film’s theme track.

According to reports, Anirudh and the makers mutually decided to part ways after a long discussion. News is that Anirudh has several commitments in the South, making it difficult for him to dedicate enough time to King.

Following his exit, the responsibility of composing the film’s music and background score has been handed over to Sachin-Jigar. The duo will also rework Anirudh’s theme track and use it as part of the film’s background score.

This means the film will still retain a touch of Anirudh’s music despite the change. Directed by Siddharth Anand, King is one of Shah Rukh Khan’s most ambitious projects and is scheduled for a Christmas release.

The makers are keen to complete the film without delays and begin its promotional campaign around Shah Rukh Khan’s birthday. Anirudh’s exit may disappoint fans who were excited about his collaboration with SRK.

Leaving a Shah Rukh Khan film is no joke, and one needs to see how Sachin Jigar takes up this huge responsibility. Meanwhile, Anirudh is in the news for his thumping music score for Jailer 2.
