It has become common that fans have to wait for years to watch their favourite star heroes on the big screen. Earlier our heroes used to do at least one film every year. But now, with Pan India high budget films trend, most of the films are taking two or three years to reach theatres. The same situation seems to be continuing with Allu Arjun’s upcoming film Raaka.
After the release of Pushpa 2, fans have been eagerly waiting for Allu Arjun’s next film. The actor joined hands with Tamil director Atlee for this much awaited project. The film was announced with huge expectations. But the shooting progress is now becoming a topic of discussion.
The shooting of Raaka has not even crossed the 50 percent mark. The film is reportedly moving at a slow pace as director Atlee is said to be planning a grand visual experience for the audience.
The movie is expected to have high quality visuals and graphics. It is also likely to feature a lot of VFX work. These elements may take more time during shooting and post production. So the makers are reportedly planning everything carefully to deliver the best output.
There is also currently talk that Raaka may arrive in December 2027. However this release date also seems impossible considering the current shooting progress and the time needed for VFX work. With many works pending, the film may face further delays. If the shooting takes more time then post production could also be affected. So with all this, it looks like audiences have to wait until 2028 to watch Allu Arjun on the big screen.
Pushpa 2 was released in 2024, so Allu Arjun had to wait almost 4 years to see him on the silver screen again.
