Suriya Aims To Reclaim His Ghajini-Era Telugu Market Glory!

Tamil star Suriya is once again focusing on the Telugu market. The actor already enjoys a good fan following in Telugu states. His films have always received attention from Telugu audiences and he has a special place among movie lovers here. Now it looks like Suriya wants to take his popularity to the next level and regain the strong market he enjoyed during the Ghajini days.

Over the years, Suriya faced a few disappointments at the box office. Some of his films failed to impress Telugu audiences and this affected his market to some extent. But the actor has not given up on his Telugu fans. His recent films have once again brought positive attention.

Veerabhadrudu received a strong response in Telugu while Vishwanath & Sons has performed better in the Telugu market compared to Tamil.

The interesting thing is that Suriya is not looking at Telugu cinema as just another market. He seems to be making careful choices to connect more strongly with local audiences. His upcoming projects also indicate that he wants to continue this momentum.

Currently Suriya is working on Suriya 48 which brings him together with director T.J. Gnanavel. The duo previously delivered the critically acclaimed Jai Bhim. Adding to the excitement, a Telugu director has reportedly narrated a full length comedy entertainer to Suriya. If everything goes as planned then this could become another interesting project for Telugu audiences.

Suriya seems to have a clear target now. He wants to continue the success of his recent films and further expand his Telugu market. If his upcoming movies also become hits then he could once again enjoy the kind of craze he had during the Ghajini period. It looks like the actor is ready for another strong innings in Telugu cinema.
