Ramayana Brings Early Diwali To The Indian Box Office

Looks like Ramayana is bringing an early Diwali celebration to the Indian box office. Despite mixed expectations before its release and divided opinions from English-language preview reviews, the Ranbir starrer is emerging as a super hit film.

The initial response suggests that audiences are turning up in significant numbers, giving the film a strong start. However, the real challenge lies ahead, as the movie’s box office target is enormous.

With such massive expectations attached to the project, it will need an extended theatrical run to achieve its ultimate goal. Although the film witnessed a drop in collections on Day 2, the overall picture remains encouraging.

The upcoming weekend, combined with the festive Diwali period, could provide a major boost to its earnings. Advance bookings are massive, indicating that audience interest remains strong despite the mixed reviews.

The festive season is traditionally one of the most favourable periods for big-budget Indian films, and Ramayana appears to be benefiting from the timing. Strong weekend collections could help it establish a solid foundation for its long-term performance.

The film’s current trends are certainly encouraging, but sustaining the momentum will be crucial. With a massive box office target ahead, the coming days will determine whether Ramayana can turn its promising opening into a historic theatrical success.

Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, Ramayana is being produced by Namit Malhotra and Yash on a massive scale.
