One More Jolt To Acharya!

Chiranjeevi and Koratala Siva’s Acharya has been delaying from longtime for various reasons. For every now and then, the film is suffering setbacks owing to the prevailing conditions. After Covid-19 pandemic hit the film’s shooting schedule, then when everything was all set and the shoot was supposed to begin, the makers of Acharya got a shocker with the news of Chiranjeevi tested positive for Covid.

While Chiru’s Covid result turned out to be a flawed, the makers of Acharya had heaved a huge sigh of relief. And then, Kajal Aggarwal’s marriage which also impacted the shooting schedule. Finally, Kajal too returned to the sets and joined Acharya.

At a time, Koratala Siva has planned the shoot of much-awaited combination scenes of Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan from Jan 7th and Charan is all set to join the shoot from the said date, here comes yet another shocker. Now, Ram Charan has been tested positive for Corona.

The blessing in disguise is that Charan is asymptomatic and he is expected to recover soon. However, many are wondering why these hiccups hitting hard for Acharya.

Earlier during the casting for Charan role too, there were so many speculations. Charan was super busy with Rajamouli’s RRR and so the makers had waited for Charan. At one point, there was talk of Mahesh Babu playing the role. However, it didn’t materialise.

Now, Koratala Siva has to wait for a few more days. And then there is Sankranthi festival. So, the whole team of Acharya may have to be quarantined till then given that Charan has recently visited Acharya sets and met all important people on the sets. So, Acharya shoot may be further delayed.

Veering towards Charan’s role in Acharya, he will be seen in a prominent 20-minute role in the film which is expected to be a major highlight. He will be seen in a major pre-interval episode and will also be seen in the second-half. So it is a crucial schedule that got affected again.
