Young director Karthik Naren created a sensation in the Tamil film industry by making a debut at the age of 22 with the suspense thriller Dhruvangal Pathinaru (16 in Telugu). Later, he made unreleased film Naragasooran with Sundeep Kishan and Aravind Swami. Now, it is being heard that Karthik got a golden opportunity of working with Thala Ajith.
According to the Tamil film industry folks, Naren approached Ajith with an interesting script recently. Apparently, Ajith liked it and asked the director to work on the full draft. It is now being heard that Naren got a call from Ajith’s office saying that the actor is interested in doing the project.
An official announcement will be made once everything gets finalized. The shoot of this film will go on the floors once Ajith wraps up his ongoing project Valimai. Karthik Naren’s last film was Mafia. Right now, he is busy with the works his next film with versatile actor Dhanush.
