Maruthi & Gopichand Hopes on Vakeel Saab

Powerstar Pawan Kalyan’s upcoming film Vakeel Saab is one of its kind films in Telugu cinema. Vakeel Saab is an exciting courtroom drama in Telugu, which is the official remake of the Bollywood hit film Pink. Venu Sriram is the film’s director.

Interestingly, the film’s success will boost the confidence of director Maruthi. Maruthi has no connection with Vakeel Saab but there is an interesting reason for him to pin hopes on the film’s success.

Recently, Maruthi announced a movie with Gopichand which is touted to be a commercial cinema. Maruthi is attempting a court-room drama that is not much explored on the Telugu screen. Gopichand also never acted in a court-room drama and immediately signed the film as soon as he heard the narration.

If Vakeel Saab becomes a hit, it will be a positive sign that the audiences are ready to encourage court-room dramas. The film’s success will certainly help the director to keep his hopes high and also encourage more people to attempt the films in the genre.
