During lockdown period, many films hit different OTT platforms, including few star hero movies under prestigious production houses. There were even reports that, Ravi Teja’s Krack directed by Gopichad Malineni too would release on any of the digital space.
Gopichand Malineni says he was completely against the idea of releasing the movie on OTT platforms. “There was immense pressure on me for OTT release. But, I wanted the film to be released in theatres at any cost. Thankfully, Ravi Teja gave me complete support. In fact, many say that, films of this large scale are to be watched on big screens.”
The director informs that he penned the story for Ravi Teja and not anybody else. “I wrote the story keeping Ravi Teja in mind. I know he only does ultimate justice to the role. He is a wonderful actor and his screen presence is impeccable. I’m happy to complete hat-trick hits with him.”
Krack is running successfully in theatres and it is set to become biggest blockbuster for Ravi Teja as well as Gopichand Malineni.
