The Girl On The Train Trailer: A Psycho-Investigative Thriller

Starring Parineeti Chopra in the lead role, ‘The Girl on the Train’ is gearing up for a grand release on Netflix this month. Streaming giant Netflix dropped the trailer on the internet today. The film’s trailer hints at a psycho-investigative thriller with elements of suspense. Aditi Rao Hydari and others are a part of the film.

The film’s trailer opens with Parineeti’s character who narrates an incident from her life. Parineeti Chopra will be seen as Meera Kapoor in the film. She talks about a woman (Aditi Rao Hydari) who she regularly observes through the window of a train that she daily travels. One day, the woman dies and the police take Meera Kapoor into their custody. The later part of the trailer reveals that Meera Kapoor suffers from Amnesia, a psychological disorder.

Ribhu Dasgupta has written and directed the film. Reliance Entertainments produces the film. The film will release on Netflix on February 26, 2021.

‘The Girl on the Train’ is based on a super hit novel of the same name. Paula Hawkins is the author. Emily Blunt played the lead role in a Hollywood adaptation of the novel. Now, Parineeti Chopra is coming up with the Indian adaption.
