Taapsee Pannu made her debut in the South with the Telugu film ‘Jhummand Nadham’ but it is the Hindi film ‘Baby’ that changed her career. After starring in Baby, she caught the attention of top filmmakers in Hindi. She grabbed back to back films which went on to become super hits. Taapsee is one of the actors who throw tough competition to existing star heroines Deepika Padukone and Alia Bhatt. But, she does not look at it that way.
In an interaction with one of her followers on social media, Taapsee revealed that all it matters is to be a part of ‘good stories’ and contribute in making it big than doing ‘big films’.
A netizen tweeted saying, “#DeepikaPadukone and #AliaBhatt are having big films in their kitty. It will be a good competition between these two actress for the no1 spot in coming years. Also, @taapsee is in her own league with some superb line-ups..”
Taapsee replied back with a tweet, “Thank you Rahul. But I don’t believe I need to be a part of ‘big films’ I believe in being a part of ‘good stories’ and contribute in making it big :)”
On the work front, Taapsee has three Hindi films on hand. They are Hasin Dillruba, Rashmi Rocket, and Loop Lapeta. She also has two Tamil films that will hit the screens this year.
