In the wake of the ongoing agitation against privatisation of Visakhatpatnam, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy would visit the city on Wednesday. At 10 am, he would reach Gannavaram airport and would fly to Visakha airport at 11.10 am.
In Vizag, a team of representatives of the VSP would meet Jagan and submit a memorandum seeking prevention of privatisation of the steel plant.
From 11.30 am to 12.30 am, he would take part in the inauguration of the Sri Sarada Peetham annual fete. A five-day fete would be organised at the Peetham by Swaroopanandendra Saraswati and Uttar Peethadhipati Swatmanandendra Saraswati.
At 7.30 am, Swaroopanandendra Sarasawati inaugurated the Utsavalu and offered special prayers to the deities on the premises of the Peetham. He also began performing the Rajasyamala Yagam for the security of the country and Loka Kalyanam.
Along with both the seers, Jagan would perform Go Puja and do Sameevruksha Pradakshina. CM Jagan is expected to return to Tadepalli by 2 pm.
Meanwhile, Opposition leader Chandrababu Naidu was in Vizag the other day to support Visakha Ukku stir against the privatisation of Vizag Steel Plant. Naidu asked YSRCP MLAs, MPs to resign against the Centre’s decision to privatise the Steel Plant. He said TDP MLAs, MPs are ready to join the legion.
