SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus RRR featuring NTR and Ram Charan in the lead roles is already making waves across the trade. The latest we hear is that the makers of the film have sold the theatrical rights of the Tamil version for a staggering price. This is said to be the highest price quoted for a film outside Tamil.
Popular production house Lyca Productions, which bankrolled massive films like 2.0, Darbar and upcoming Indian 2, has bagged the Tamil theatrical rights of RRR. The announcement is expected to be made shortly today. The production house is going to extensively promote the film in Tamil Nadu.
RRR stars Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn in pivotal roles. The film has internationally-known actors. The film is all set for release on October 13, 2021.
