‘Bhaag Milkha Bhaag’ was the first collaboration of director Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra with actor cum director Farhan Akhtar. They are reuniting for ‘Toofan’ and we have the teaser of it.
Opens to showing Farhan getting knocked out, it flips to punching a guy. Farhan plays Azzu Bhai, a gangster who is good at beating up thugs. His girlfriend played by Mrunal Thakur wants him to decide to be a gangster or become a boxer, Aziz Ali.
Farhan picks up the second option but it’s not an easy ride. He trains hard and then there are challenges ahead of him to become a famous boxer. The teaser is emotionally driven with spirited visuals and Farhan steals the show with his performance.
Director Rakeysh is a very good story teller for such tales and he delivers. ‘Toofan’ is going to be an OTT release and Amazon Prime has the rights. World Premiere is locked on May 21st.
